Set in the beautiful Peak District is Losehill House Hotel, the setting for Liam and Fran’s wedding day.
As beautiful as the Peaks are, we all know how unpredictable the weather can be over those rolling hills and valleys. Today was no exception. A typical spring April day, the blossom was on the trees, but the wind and intermittent rain were reminding us that it wasn’t Summer yet!
As always, I arrived early, donned my walking boots and went for a stroll around with the camera – the little lambykins were shielding themselves in the fields from the weather. The hotel was warm and bright and out of the wind.
With no getting ready photos required, we were straight into the action. Fran looked absolutely beautiful, and Liam very handsome in his suit.
The ceremony was in the light and airy room facing out onto the fields, and was turned around for the wedding breakfast, while other guests arrived and joined them in the adjacent room – it was getting quite a tight squeeze in there so I was glad when were all moved back ready for speeches.
Even mother nature eased up on the rain just long enough so we could dash outside for some photos, before the heavens duly opened again and we headed back into the dry.
