Penistone Church and Cubley Hall Wedding – Rebecca and Daniel

Rebecca and Daniel had a beautiful ceremony at Penistone St John’s Church before their intimate reception at Cubley Hall

The warm Autumn sun was certainly shining on them for their big day. I’d met Rebecca and her family last year when they booked me, but had yet to meet Daniel until their rehearsal a couple of days before, where I was also introduced to Father David – perhaps one of the nicest, most laid-back vicars I’ve ever met.

The Wedding Ceremony

The weather couldn’t have been kinder to them and the sun streamed through the stained glass windows in the church, adding to the atmosphere as they exchanged their vows in front of a church full of friends and family.

The Wedding Transport

The bells rang out across Penistone to announce them as they left for their reception at Cubley Hall in a fantastic old Austin Mayfair provided by the fantastic and always impeccably turned-out Laura’s Vintage Limousines, who incidentally had introduced the couple to me originally!

The Reception at Cubley Hall

Dashing off ahead of the new Mr and Mrs I got to Cubley Hall in time to get set up ready for their arrival. The barn at Cubley Hall looked lovely, and we made the most of the dry weather for some portraits outside – Rebecca particularly wanting to make use of the bandstand there.

The next day they were off on their honeymoon, so I made sure their photos were ready and waiting for them for when they got home…

We’ve just got back from our honeymoon and the first thing we did was pounce on the USB stick. The photos are absolutely perfect! We are starting to plan which photo to put on what wall and canvases and all sorts. You were fabulous and everyone should have you as their photographer!
