Amanda and Pete’s Wood Lane Countryside Centre Wedding

Amanda and Pete had chosen the Wood Lane Countryside Centre in Sheffield to hold their wedding day. This Summer seemed to be the summer for outdoor ceremonies, which I adore, and today was no exception.

Not only was the ceremony outside, but they’d made the most of the gardens and guests were treated to giant jenga, connect 4, swingball and some strange scandinavian game I’d never seen before but it certainly kept the guests entertained – they even carried on playing when it started to rain (which thankfully didn’t last long.) Pete’s gran was first on the swingball before the couple had even arrived.

I loved how Pete and Amanda walked together down the aisle, Pete looked 10 feet tall with pride at his beautiful wife to be on his arm.

Pete had been busy making about a dozen or so pies – they were serious pies, and it was insisted that I took some home with me. The whole day was so relaxed, just perfect for what Pete and Amanda wanted.

What better way to start the evening party off than with THE best setlist I’ve heard at a wedding yet (and quite frankly, the best air guitar yet too!)
