Sheffield Town Hall Wedding & Bradfield Village Hall Wedding Reception For Kara & Michael

This summer, Mother Nature really has been spoiling us with the sunshine – Sheffield Town Hall was basking in blue skies for Kara and Mike’s big day. Inside felt just as summery with the pretty dresses and bunches of natural lavender. Our beautiful bride Kara arrived in a tea-length dress looking just as summery, and I knew we were in for a wonderful day.

An intimate ceremony followed by congratulations and confetti in the Sheffield Peace Gardens, before the guests all got on a bus and we headed over to Bradfield Village Hall, which was also enjoying the beautiful weather. A more English scene you’d struggle to find – on one side of the village hall people were playing tennis, whilst on the other was the cricket ground playing host to a match.

There was a real feast to be had too – with roasts on each table for the guests to carve, followed by apple pie – ceremoniously brought in by the waitresses complete with sparklers! One of the girl’s faces had me giggling as she concentrated on not getting her eyebrows singed.

With full bellies it was time to enjoy the evening sun before dancing away some of the calories. How do you top that? Karaoke! Yes, you heard me right. Plenty of awesome old school rock classics and even time for, “Ghostbusters,” and a special performance of, “Baby Shark,” by the boys. The first time I’d actually heard it and didn’t have a clue what was happening! Haha! x
