This wonderfully atmospheric, warm and welcoming Holdsworth house wedding for Jenny and James had lovely personal touches throughout.
I started with Jenny, her grandma, mum, sister and of course not forgetting her sister’s adorable greyhound!
Jenny was busy putting cake pops and rings into the favour bags for her guests while her sister was begrudgingly putting mascara on. Her mum had hand-decorated Jenny’s hi-tops, and her bouquet was made of paper roses from her favourite book.
Waiting with her Dad, Jenny looked every bit like she’d just stepped out of an adventurous, magical tale herself, and they both struggled to hold their composure as they waited to be given the nod for the ceremony to begin.
After the ceremony we all headed outside for a lovely relaxed catch up and a few photos, while Jenny and James proudly showed off their new wedding rings and we all laughed at Jenny’s Dad’s shoes.
I loved how Holdsworth had set up the wedding breakfast – the tables were in a square formation whereby everyone could see each other, and it added to the lovely atmosphere, and James’ best man made his hilarious speech including slideshow.
Of course, there were dancefloor moves to come later on, and I left for home feeling very happy and even more so with my gift of the cakepop and ring which Jenny had kindly given me earlier in the day 🙂
