Mark and Emma finally get married!

I say finally, because lockdown has made this their 3rd attempt! We were all so happy to finally be there that we all soon forgot the yellow and black tape and signs, hand washing and masks, especially when Emma made her way down the aisle, arm in arm with her Dad, to a smiling waiting Mark.

Emma and Mark had an unusual viewpoint for their photos as I had to stay down the sides or at the back of the church, when normally I’d be up at the front behind the vicar and in the sides, so I was really pleased to be able to use the new 135mm 1.8 lens, which made up for being further away.

The reception was held at Shottle Hall, and this was my first visit. It was beautiful, with a wonderfully relaxed feel, bright rooms and plenty of outside space. I was made to feel incredibly welcome from start to finish, and I feel incredibly blessed to have been able to capture memories for such a wonderful couple and their family against all the odds. Proof that love, indeed, conquers all.
